Hikeish is a monthly guided hiking program with accessible transportation, educational in-store experiences that touch on culture, art and sustainability, and promoting “Leave No Trace” principles.

How it works

Each month, we'll announce a new program via Instagram or our email newsletter with a link to register.

The week of the hike, you'll receive an email with more details on the land's history, day of weather conditions, and other need-to-knows.

Sample Itinerary

8:45am: Arrive at Outlandish, get fitted for Salomon demo boots, and pick out a pair of Black Diamond hiking sticks

9am: Group introductions

9:30am: Get into shuttles and hit the road

11am: Arrive at the trailhead

1pm: Have lunch on top of a mountain with your new friends

3pm: Finish the trail, pat yourself on the back

5pm: Return to Outlandish

Hikeish FAQ

What is your refund policy?

We can only refund cancellations one week before the hike.

If you need to cancel within this time frame, we can issue your registration fee as store credit.

Are the hikes beginner friendly?

Yes! We try to choose hikes that are enjoyable for experience levels. A typical trail is 4-6 miles with one uphill climb at an easy pace.

How often do you host Hikeish?

Hikeish is a year-round program that happens rain or shine on a monthly cadence.

What's included in the registration fee?

The fee covers

  • Shuttle transportation
  • Salomon demo boot rental
  • Black Diamond hiking stick rental
  • Coffee and Spoonful overnight oats the morning of
  • Paying our hike guides

Hikers also receive 15% off all in-store purchases the weekend of the hike.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! Dogs ride for free, just include them in your registration.

Can I drive my car and meet you at the trailhead?

Unfortunately, we can't meet separate drivers at the trail because it's typically hard to coordinate.
